The Business Connection
The Business Connection is North West London's
premier business club, facilitating networking and support in a
friendly and informal atmosphere.
Founded in December 1993 as a membership led
organisation run for the benefit of its start-up and smaller
businesses membership, it now attracts a diverse range of trades
and professions and continues to support this important area
of business life.
The Business Connection links truly enterprising
businesses across North and West London and further affield,
providing a platform for inter-trading, skill development,
and peer support.

The Women's Connection
The Women's Connection brings together the three
strands of our local community and seeks to blend life and work
commitments in an environment where women would feel more comfortable
sharing their feelings, experiences, and aspirations.
The intentions of the group are simple in that it provides you
with a link between women, business, and the community in a forum
that encourages personal development, business growth, and community
support.
The Women's Connection combines the expertise
of The Business Connection, Harrow in
Business with support from Lloyds TSB.
Funds raised through its activities are donated to local charitable organisations.
Unstoppable Women - Our theme for 2008
Unstoppable approach leads to National Training Award.....
When an unexpected reduction in funding nearly stopped the successful Idea to Implementation programme for female entrepreneurs, Clare Concannon concentrated on what could be done, rather than wasting energy where there was little room for negotiation.
With the support of Harrow in Business, who partnered the three year programme and the understanding of our local Lloyds TSB bank, a new phase for the course emerged and The Women's Connection network was started in June 2006!
The positive approach to extremely difficult circumstances was recognised in the partnership entry for the National Training Awards. In November 2007 Harrow in Business and Clare Concannon received a National Training Award (Greater London Region) at Banqueting House, London, presented by Dave Grant of the BBC Fame Academy.
Unstoppable momentum to establish first all female Group Mentoring.....
The unstoppable momentum continues towards a Group Mentoring Scheme which is run by Harrow in Business and to celebrate International Women's Day/Week we have chosen Friday 7th March 2008 to launch the first all female group mentoring programme at a unique taster session.
How you can be part of our unstoppable theme in 2008
We would like to add your Unstoppable stories to ours and invite you to send in your unique story by email, telling us how you have overcome barriers to success and the impact it had on you and your business. To be no longer than the example above, with a photo if you have one (although we cannot guarantee we will be able to use it). Please send your story to Rhona Denness by clicking here.
Directory of Women's Services
From your feedback and the inspiration of our member Photographer Toni Sheppard, we introduced a directory of women's services at the end of last year, to help you to find the right contacts so you too can be truly unstoppable in 2008 TWC Networking Directory.
